RSOA ARMED FORCES
RSOA Armed Forces
The military institution responsible for territorial control and expansion.
Service & structure
Eligible young men are expected to enter training from the age of 16 and complete at least six years of service. Many remain in the Armed Forces because civilian alternatives commonly involve hard labour.
The force uses ranks adapted from the former United States Army. Officers receive chemical enhancements (“The Regimen”) to strength and perception, with irritability and increased libido among the reported effects.
Operational responsibilities
- Guard RSOA-controlled cities and their infrastructure.
- Extend territorial control into the wasteland.
- Train continually against hostile factions and the possibility of another war.
- Conduct operations that bring women from outside communities into state custody.
Military privileges
Service members receive improved rations, regular medical attention, and better accommodation than ordinary civilians. Commissioned officers may be assigned an SR through the Stress Relief Program.
