Stress Relief Program

Designation & identification

Stress Relievers (known as SRs) are infertile adult wards of the state aged 18 or older, including male, female, intersex, and gender-nonconforming individuals. They are assigned to commissioned officers of Lieutenant rank or above, or officer-equivalent elites, as rewards for their loyalty and service to the RSOA. A high ranking officer may have multiple SRs.

SRs are primarily for, as the name would imply, “stress relief” – giving officers an outlet for their daily frustrations. SRs are expected to be completely obedient to their officers, taking care of their intimate and personal needs.

Officers are highly discouraged from forming emotional connections with their SRs, as they are officially state property.

All SRs wear pure white uniforms, with no footwear to discourage escape attempts. They must wear an electronic shock collar which can be used as punishment and to enforce proximity to their officer.

Officers may customise their SR’s attire, but the designation tag—SR-XX99—must remain visible at all times.

RULES & DISCIPLINE

  • Obey all orders from the assigned officer and supervising Matrons.
  • Remain within 100 metres of the assigned officer unless authorised.
  • Wear the locked collar and visibly display the SR designation at all times.
  • Perform assigned domestic and personal-service duties.
  • Do not handle weapons, undergo combat training, or attempt unauthorised departure

SR UNIFORM OPTIONS

Uniforms are customisable by an SR’s officer. These are examples, not a comprehensive list.

ANNUAL AUDIT & THE STRESS TEST

Immediately before the annual Stress Test, Matrons re-grade every SR according to the grading rubric (see below) . Officers may renew an existing assignment or return the SR to the selection pool.

The Stress Test is an official day each year where SRs are chosen by their officers, or renewed for their yearly contract with their current officer. They are re-graded regardless of status.

Unclaimed, returned, and newly graduated SRs undergo compulsory nude inspection in organised lines. Officers inspect, test, and claim assignments in order of rank, from Generals down to Lieutenants.

SR RANKING TIERS

90–99Class-S · Prime

Generals, Colonels, and High Command. Maximum State Asset Protection. Often have better privileges and are treated more ‘gently’ than lower rated SRs.

75–89Class-A · High-Value

Majors and Senior Captains. High medical oversight.

50–74Class-B · Standard

Captains and shared Lieutenant pools.

20–49Class-C · Barrack-Grade

1st and 2nd Lieutenants, usually shared. Minimal oversight.

01–19Class-F · Decommissioned

Removed from service for chemical lobotomy or transfer to Mortuaries or black-site test laboratories.

MULTIPLE SRs / “HAREMS”

A sufficiently high ranking Officer may have more than one SR, though typically only one is permitted to be chosen per Stress Test (this varies by base and current availability of unselected SRs). SRs are expected to cooperate; rivalries are frowned upon and may be punished at the discretion of the officer.

TRACKING COLLARS

Every SR wears a locked electronic collar. Moving more than 100 metres from the assigned officer without a manual override triggers debilitating electric shocks and a Military Police alert.

DEPLOYMENT & SHARED ASSIGNMENTS

Deployed officers may take their SRs to forward operating bases, confine them to private quarters, or leave them in communal holding wings overseen by Matrons. Junior Lieutenants often share one SR through rotating schedules or shared dormitories.

REASSIGNMENT

The nominal right to request reassignment is a bureaucratic trap used to identify troublesome SRs. State protection instead follows assessed value: SRs rated 75–99 are costly state property, and an officer can be prosecuted for abuse that permanently disfigures or renders a high-value SR unusable. However, lower rated SRs are often left to their own devices – an officer might be reprimanded if their SR ‘goes missing’ and will have to do without one until the next Stress Test, but further punishment is not typical.

REGARDING NON-GENDER CONFORMING SRs

Fertility overrides identity. Anyone capable of pregnancy is routed to the Repopulation Program, regardless of gender identity. Infertile intersex wards enter the SR Division, where the regime may apply a 6–12 point “novelty scarcity” modifier.

In response to the 1:10 gender ratio and traditionalist officer preferences, AMAB SRs routinely undergo imposed depilation, vocal softening, and state-administered estrogen and anti-androgens to increase their assessed attractiveness. Officers may request hormonal alterations through Form DRAM-88, or obtain unauthorised supplies, including estrogen or military-grade testosterone.
