COMPANY PROFILE
A politically neutral, well-financed private military company. MEDUSA accepts contracts from anyone who can afford its services: protection, security, bounty work, and targeted operations.
Operators have wide range of weapons, fighting style, and conduct, provided they remain effective and complete the contract. MEDUSA accepts contracts paid in a range of supplies and wasteland valuables; food, weapons and raw resources amongst them.
PERSONNEL & RECRUITMENT
Recruits come from RSOA deserters, Roach survivalists, and loners surviving in the wasteland. Entry is open to adults who can survive the selection process.
Total member count: 300+
Company tithe: 20–30% of contract payouts and loot funds the base armoury.
ORIGINS
Founded by a militant survivalist leader who recognised the profit in protecting vulnerable communities, MEDUSA expanded from bodyguard and local security work into contracts for major factions and international interests.
The RSOA tolerates MEDUSA compounds outside its walls because the PMC absorbs wasteland threats and undertakes operations the Armed Forces cannot officially acknowledge. This work damages MEDUSA’s reputation among independent survivalists.
PAYMENT & EQUIPMENT
Business runs on barter and hard resources: clean water, fuel, medical kits, and ammunition. Equipment is industrial and tactical, drawing on scavenged pre-war military hardware and RSOA supplies obtained through contracts, battlefield salvage, or corrupt quartermasters.
Technology is comparable to the RSOA’s. MEDUSA maintains limited aircraft, including small planes and helicopters, and a small fleet at its coastal base.

LIFE INSIDE THE WIRE
Operators are well compensated, housed on-site, and expected to train almost every day. The three bases (North, West and East) are fortified industrial rail yards or plants, protected by blast walls and concrete guard towers.
The motor pool and Chop-Shop keep armoured rigs operational. The Ops Center handles contracts; The Pit settles sanctioned disputes; the smoky Wet Canteen is the company’s social hub. Its food has a poor reputation, and operators often eat in nearby survivalist settlements.
COMMAND & COMPANY CULTURE
The Commander holds supreme authority. Handlers and contract brokers run negotiations, bounties, and logistics. Lead Operators command strike teams; Operators hold full contracts; Initiates remain on probation.
Women who pass selection are treated as tactical equals, although wasteland sexism persists. Fraternisation is formally prohibited but often overlooked when it does not interfere with the job. The company protects its own personnel as Company Assets; trafficking a squadmate is treated as treason.
